Triple Whammy
Triple Mega Giant Super-Detailed Jam-Packed Movie Review(s)!!!
1. Transamerica
I really liked this movie. Felicity Huffman plays an extremely sympathetic character, and Kevin Zegers is hot (and looks a whole lot like Justin Chatwin). I found this a really uplifting movie.
2. Pretty Persuasion
I pretty much hated this movie. It went all out to generate cheap shocks (mostly sexual in nature) and was such a bitter, empty husk of a movie, the humour was very blunt and cruel; the characters extremely unsympathetic. It was quite painful to sit through. I found this a really depressing movie.
3. Butterfly Effect (Director's Cut)
I liked this movie. I thought Ashton Kutcher was mis-cast though. I did like the Director's Cut ending, where baby Evan kills himself (SPOILER OOOOOOPPPPPPSSSSSS!!! yeah, as if 80% of you haven't watched it already). I found this neither uplifting or depressing, it just is.
I need to go and lie down in bed and cry a bit more, then I'll have to get up and start on my English essay.
