Whatever gets you through the day

Answer to Riddle:

Haha Karmun's right! It's last names.
And shame on those of you who thought whatever you thought, if whatever you thought deserves shame! (and I'm sure they do, esp you QM :p)

-----------
Didn't do any work yesterday. Instead, went over to Leanne's place to cook and bake cookies. We made:

1) Creme caramel
2) Chicken lagsane
3) Green tea sponge cake
4) White chocolate and macademia cookies
5) Orange almond biscotti
6) Coconut jam drops

A spectacular success, if I say so myself, although the sponge cake looked a bit mouldy, the cookies were a bit salty from all the butter, and we forgot all about the creme caramels (still sitting serenely in Leanne's fridge). I thought the chicken lagasane was fabulous. Wouldn't mind having some right now.

So, despite spilling flour (more than once, I think), scalding my hands while washing up, messing up the caramelisation process, and eating the white chocolate melts meant for the cookies (Becky and I were just sitting there popping them into our mouths)... well not despite, but because of all the silly little minor mishaps, it was a great day.

After dropping seeing Jane off at QV, Leanne, Becky and I walked around Melbourne Central; Leanne got a necklace for her friend's birthday, and I spent money again. Help! I need someone to take my wallet away from me and keep it under lock and key. I spent nearly a hundred (A lie, my friends. I spent at least a hundred.) buying a green top with white polka dots, a peacock blue jacket, a black skirt, a pair of earrings, three rings, and a max factor 'ruby fruit' nail polish.

Ok, I really really really really promise!!! No more shopping until after exams.
------------
I got my UMAT results.
Can we all say, Nelson Muntz-style, "haHA!"
It's probably the worst result of any quiz, test, exam, SAC, maths/science competition or IQ test etc that I have ever received in my life.

Well except for that time in primary four when I got a 4/100 for my ting4 xie3. Or the test we had in sec 3 for Shui hu zhuàn. Or any one of my Chinese lit tests. To be fair to myself, I think I would have done heaps better on the UMAT if I didn't take my own sweet time choosing my options carefully only to realise I had 10 min and half the paper left. Still, the UMAT is (apart from said Chinese/ Chinese Lit tests) the absolute worst, the nadir of my intellectual achievements.

Meh. I don't want to do dentistry anyway.
And this comes straight from my heart, untainted by the sweet juices of sour grapes.
