happy birthday, CassieJust a quick update: last night was Cassie Cass Cass' birthday dinner celebration. The buffet dinner at Sante was good, but unfortunately I have to say that the night took a turn for the worse. It had nothing to do with the gambling (ever the hardcore gambler, I lost a dollar to a pokie machine; Cath, being twice the risk-taker I am, lost $2), or the time we spent at the pub after, though., but how we reacted to the missing present. I think we didn't try hard enough to relocate it. And it's not my place to judge their friendship, but I didn't think the dancing and flirting with strange men made Cassie feel any better. And it was her night after all; we could have done so much better.
